Our Mission
Truth and Love Ministries wants to see the Word of God spread to those around the world. Jesus said to travel throughout the world declaring his Word. This commandment is very literal, but it also extends to witnessing to the online world, which did not exist 2000 years ago. So, here we are, spreading the Word of God to those online. Our goal is not only to share God’s Word but to do it in love without sacrificing or compromising on truth either. Let God’s Word be offensive and not ourselves; may we say everything lovingly and truthfully!
Furthermore, there is a lot of misinformation about what God’s Word says. False doctrine is rampant in the modern church. We want to encourage others in their faith as we share the truth of the Gospel and tear down the lies being propagated by the culture and liberal sects of Christianity. Just as Paul urged Timothy, we desire and aim to rightly divide the Word of truth.
Our Team
Jeremiah Yonemura
I grew up in a Christian home, but I never really came to know the Lord until I was twelve years old. As I’ve matured, the Lord has sanctified me in Him by His grace, allowing me to better glorify and honor Him.
In middle and high school, I discovered my interest in essays and informational writing. As a Christian, I took my love for God and my love writing and squeezed them together into blog posts on my blog, which has turned into what is now the Truth and Love Ministries (TLM) Blog. When I was assigned to create a YouTube video for my Old Testament final in high school, I learned about my revived love for creating YouTube content. The next summer, the videos and the blog posts would turn my YouTube channel into an extension of the blog and TLM.
Since then, I have continued to grow in the Lord and His Word, and as a student at The Master’s University, I am continually learning in my Bible classes about the greatness, deepness, and perfection of God Word. I hope to one day use the bachelors in Marketing Media that I am pursuing to share the the profoundness of God’s special revelation to His people.
A Note on Bible Translations
Truth and Love Ministries uses the Legacy Standard Bible (LSB). While there are many faithful translations, the LSB uses updated manuscripts and translation philosophies to be more accurate to the original Greek and Hebrew. The translations of the Tetragrammaton to “Yahweh” instead of “the LORD” and doulos to “slave” were other compelling factors. While blog posts from before this implementation will remain unchanged, future TLM content (except for posts Jeremiah didn’t write) will quote the LSB.
